| Set high on the southern slopes of Gunung Rinjani, 50km from Sweta,
and surrounded by some of the most picturesque scenery in Lombok, the
small village of TETEBATU is becoming increasingly popular. It's a quiet
spot, but developing rapidly, with a moneychanger, a Perama agent (book
a day in advance) and transport rental. Enquire at Green Orry for
bicycles (Rp10,000 a day), motorcycles (Rp25,000), charter transport and
exchange. To reach Tetebatu, take a bemo or bus to Pomotong (1hr 15min
from Sweta's Mandalika Terminal) and either get an ojek straight up to
Tetebatu, or a bemo to Kotaraja and then a cidomo on to Tetebatu. Perama
tourist shuttle buses also run here from all over Bali and Lombok. Green
